Aimée Bellerose

From The Tanzanite Codex

Oh! Bonjour chérie, tu sembles perdu, je peux peut-être t'aider
Aimée Bellerose giving you her greetings.

A big bunny with a kind hearted nature, Aimee is the mother of four of the Bellerose sisters, herself being one of three sisters born from Camille Bellerose.

She lives in the Kokkivo mountains as a traveling guide, guiding people through the Guilded Mountains either venturing from Elyoria into Snowdew, or vice versa.

Appearance

She is a black rabbit with various white highlights, often earning her the nickname of "Noire Blanca", based upon the French terms for both Black and White, alongside this is a blue nose, long silver white hair, white ears with black tips and spots

Her clothing consists of a red textured buttoned vest, with various adornments, a pair of grey hiking boots with a green stripe and white fluff lining the top, and a pair of forest green jeans. Alongside a small pair of rings and a small locket containing a picture of Delphine and a Tanzanite gemstone.

Personality

By nature, she is a sweet and humble lagomoprh. Known for a kind and warm nature, she's often willing to help those who need it in a time of crisis.

She's got a motherly vibe with her, unsurprisingly coming up most often when dealing with her four daughters,

That being said, she's not kind to everyone, in particular showing disgust toward the Draknovi faction for what they've become, especially given how they used to be, she's heard of them at a fairly young age and looked up to them, but sees most of them as corrupt and shameful.

Given her "secrets", she lives alone as a recluse in the Kokkivo Mountains, living in a small cobblestone cabin, with the only people she encounters being the people of Tarva or travelers going back and forth within the red rock region, as a result, she grows rather lonely. She often reflects on the older days, both with Delphine and with her four daughters, the former fading away peacefully and the latter living far away all around Tanzanite. On the flip side this does make her better hidden from vagrants and mercenaries, but the toll it takes on her well being is evident.

Partly as a result of the isolation and her advanced age, she can also be kind of cloudy and scatterbrained, occasionally becoming easily distracted by smaller things.

Abilities

  • Movement

Compared to her four daughters, Aimée is incapable of fighting at all, lacking either weapons, beyond a small pair of clackers, magic or combat skills. However like all rabbits, she has amazing agility and is sufficiently speedy, especially for someone in her advanced age and her added weight, however given her lackluster combat skills, she can survive against lower tier vagrants like The Platinum Foot and the Scarlet Skull Reptiles, but more advanced and well equipped factions like Draknovi prove to be far more troublesome, one of the few times she encountered one nearly ending with her getting shot.

  • Languages

She is also knowledgeable on the language of Greek, passed down by her family alongside something she picked up in her travels, given it's an ancient language, being one of the oldest languages in Tanzanite, it's nearly gone extinct to all but a fleeting few, discounting the Guardians. She can also speak a fair amount of English though given it's not her first language, she's not the greatest at it.

  • Profession

She acts as a pathfinder within the mountains of Kokkivo, roaming around in a small caravan lead by a couple Griphalyn and a Fryllia Komodo, guiding travelers from one part of the area to another, usually those coming from Moghra into the Snowdew region just to the East, or vice versa. Often stopping at small towns on the way, usually the humble village of Tarva, trading herbs with both the various villagers within, as well as the Ikano Axel Guild near the border regions.

  • Secrets

She's got a secret, and that's an unusually ravenous habit of devouring creatures she can find, she is unsure as to why this happens, believing it to be a result of some kind of curse, but she doesn't have the answer to this and it may even just be something she has.

One thing she does to combat this is acquiring snowberries, which don't stop her urges but their antidigestive properties do mean she won't end up harming someone she doesn't want to. These aren't easy to come by in a hot region like Kokkivo so she ventures to the Sapanos Outpost near Kiar to get some of those, since they live close enough to Snowdew to get these reliably, or failing that they often travel to Tarva so she usually picks some up when they show up.

Relationships

  • Delphine

A Jackalope who encountered Aimée, the two were very close

  • Cécile, Adeline, Natalia, Suzanne

She greatly cares for her daughters. Often taking them up to the peaks to view the sunsets when they were young, with Cécile and Natalia looking at the orange glow of the setting sun while Suzanne watched the glowing moonlight.

They would eventually grow apart given the distances they all live in, with Cécile poking around the Chrysoberyl region, Adeline in Snowdew, and Natalia in Elyoria, with her having no idea what happened to Suzanne. She wouldn't mind seeing them all again one day.

  • Maurine Beauchamp

Cécile's girlfriend

  • Ines Bellerose

Her sister, the relationship between the two being especially tense, with Ines often bullying her in her time. While they weren't always this way, nowadays the two are often at odds with each other, with Ines being noted as being exceptionally abusive and uncaring towards her sister.

Backstory

The youngest of three siblings raised by Camille Bellerose, alongside her older sister Ines, and her brother Elias.

In her younger years, she would travel up to the mountains with Camille to observe the sights and look at the mysterious ruins, this combined with reading the enigmatic journals of Edgar Page gave her a great interest in the guardians, the stone heroine Petra in particular.

She would eventually raise four daughters of her own, first the oldest. Natalia, followed by the other three later on.

In her time, she would find a girlfriend in a jackalope named Delphine, the two growing close together as they lived in the northern Kokkivo mountains and traveled eastward toward the icy mountains of Snowdew.
